Some dogs are overly prone to itching, hot spots and skin irritations sporadically or consistently. Excess scratching and itching in dogs can be caused by environmental, dietary, situational stressors to ticks, fleas, sunburn, or allergies. These ailments can then cause your pet to scratch, chew and/or gnaw at the affected areas, leaving them with painful sores. Our dog shampoo for itching has been formulated with hydrocortisone and lidocaine to soothe and moisturize the skin. Natural oatmeal and aloe vera also work to nourish and relieve painful or inflamed areas. Treat your dog to the benefits of optimum skin and coat condition with itch relief shampoo, carefully formulated to promote healthy skin and coat, controlling irritations and alleviating the symptoms of over-itching, gnawing and biting.

Firstly, make sure you have your dog in the bathtub. Then wet your dog’s coat with warm, clean water. Apply the itch relief shampoo and lather for a few minutes, allowing it to soak into the coat and skin.
Then rinse well until the water runs clear, making sure that you remove all shampoo from your dog’s skin and coat.
Let your dog shake off any excess water, and then gently pat dry with a soft, clean towel (ensuring to avoid any rough movements so that you don’t irritate the skin further)
Repeat use when necessary or when itchiness and/or irritation reoccur.
